Year after year we have kept growing and innovating in support of Indonesia's startup ecosystem
Founderplus launched Advisory, an intensive mentoring and consulting programme for selected businesses. It rounds out our three pillars: education, mentoring, and funding.
Founderplus began partnering with universities to reach strong founders earlier. New services arrived: Founderplus School (hybrid training on focused topics for early-stage founders), Open Funding (selecting promising businesses for investment), and Founderplus Fundfest (a startup pitching competition in front of well-known investors).
The transformation brought two new services: Founderplus Academy (online learning for founders) and Startup Incubator (a three-month programme of bootcamp, mentoring, and demo day).
We formulated the startup studio model through Badr Startup Studio, funding and forming startups from inside the company. Our first programmes: Startup Bootcamp (two weeks of intensive training for aspiring founders) and Startup Funding (seed capital for promising new businesses).
We started by building business units that made technology products across sectors: transport, commerce, agriculture, and education. Back then Badr acted as an incubator while technology investors were still scarce, so we experimented a great deal to find the right formula for building healthy startups.
